GoPomelo is looking for an enthusiastic addition to the Workplace from Facebook team. Workplace is the next generation enterprise communication platform that enables employees at any organization to collaborate and communicate using many of the same features available on Facebook. Launched in 2016, Workplace is growing quickly, with thousands of companies around the world using Workplace. Workplace's mission is to give the world a place to work together.

GoPomelo is a partner of Workplace and your role as a Solutions Architect, you will work closely with the Sales and Partnerships team, pitching Workplace to new potential clients, and solving technical challenges for existing customers. You will use your deep understanding of the system and the needs of clients, working with the Product and Engineering team to improve the overall product experience. You will also drive various initiatives to scale Workplace and make it easier to adopt. For example, by developing documentation and representing GoPomelo at industry events and conferences. The ideal candidate will combine excellent technical, product and business skills to make our partners successful and improve the Workplace product.

A significant part of your role will be to serve as the technical consultant, often functioning as a liaison between our customers and all GoPomelo and Workplace teams. This is a hands-on, high execution role which requires excellent technical and analytical skills to launch Workplace at the largest enterprises across APAC.

Responsibilities:

  • Deeply understand the Workplace system architecture and integration components
  • Engage with potential customers to understand their business objectives and demonstrate the value proposition of Workplace
  • Deliver customized pre-sales technical presentation and product demonstrations to customers
  • Assist in the development of RFP responses and drive to close new opportunities
  • Identify key system architecture components, propose and help clients build solutions that unblock deployments
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10% of time
  • Troubleshoot customer technical issues in real time
  • Create documentation and develop best practices to help customers get the most out of using the system
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer executive sponsors and help them translate their Workplace vision into execution
  • Identify automation projects to help customers be more productive (e.g., bots, integrations)
  • Adapt quickly to product changes and limitations, and communicate these strategically to stakeholders

Requirements

Skills

  • BA/BS degree required, MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
  • 2+ years experience as a software engineer, technical consultant, partner/sales/solutions engineer
  • Experience communicating to technical and business audiences
  • Knowledge of the enterprise software space
  • Experience working with cloud identity providers and collaboration tools
  • Knowledge of the web technology stack (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, RESTful APIs)
  • Experience with security protocols (SAML, Kerberos, etc.) and enterprise user management systems (e.g. Active Directory)
  • Excellent organization, project management, time management, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and sell business cases to customer teams
  • Willingness to 'roll up one's sleeves' and assist wherever needed
  • Team player who will innovate to continue improving the way Workplace serves its customers
  • Fluent in Thai and English, any additional languages is an advantage


Education

  • BA/BS degree required, MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
