Sales Engineer / Technical Account Manager

Job description

GoPomelo are seeking an experienced technical architects / deployment engineers to join their growing team in Bangkok. The right candidate will work on Google G Suite and Workplace by Facebook projects within Thailand and across the ASEAN region. 

Roles and responsibilities

Focus on Google Cloud products including G Suite, Chrome Device Management, Workplace by Facebook, AODocs and other cloud based productivity platforms.

  • Provide solution architect pre sales role to accounts allocated by the sales team to conduct technical discovery, validate solutions for the customer, assist in producing technical proposals
  • Provide your named account list with technical consult by having a deep understanding of their systems and business
  • Attend project kick offs and collaborate with the delivery team to ensure successful projects
  • Facilitate a transfer of knowledge for specific solutions to other internal teams and the customers
  • Provide technical implementation for all projects as assigned
  • Provide testing and deployment execution for projects as assigned
  • Work with project team to plan activities and meet deadlines as prescribed in the project plan
  • Interact and discuss solutions with customers during customer project meetings
  • Provide solution demos during and after the project completion to customers and internally
  • Attend project kick offs, technical kickoffs, google cloud workshops as required by the project team.
  • Work with internal teams to improve and/or implement internal cloud based systems
  • Achieve and maintain certifications in your specialist areas


  • Experience in Sales and/or Deployment Engineering role
  • Experience in Google Apps (G Suite), Microsoft O365, Lotus Notes configurations, migrations and deployment projects
  • Strong understanding of SSO, LDAP and Directory solutions such as AD, AAD, Google Identity
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure, networking and
  • Experience in cloud based deployments and projects
  • Experience in working with large enterprise customers in
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and problem-solver
  • Able to work in under pressure and time constraints
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Thai.
